OM is a product developed as part of a research initiative at ELISAVA — Barcelona School of Design and Engineering. For the purposes of this policy, the data controller is the OM project team, reachable at nikolas.bellos@gmail.com.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit our website or register your interest through our pre-order form.

2. What Data We Collect

When you submit the pre-order reservation form, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• Your material and plan preferences (Sage, Aluminium, etc. — OM or OM Intelligence)
• The date and time of your submission

We do not collect payment information, billing addresses, or any financial data. No payment is required to reserve.

3. Why We Collect It

We use your data exclusively to:

• Maintain a waitlist for the first OM production run
• Contact you when your reserved unit is ready
• Send you updates about production progress, if you have expressed interest

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, provided when you submit the reservation form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your reservation data for as long as the pre-order programme is active, or until you request deletion. If the project does not proceed to production, we will delete all reservation data and notify you by email.

5. Who We Share It With

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is stored in Google Sheets via Google Workspace, which acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement with Google LLC. Google's privacy policy applies to their infrastructure.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or automated decision-making.

6. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics services. The only data stored locally is your reservation submission, saved to your browser's localStorage as a local backup. This data never leaves your device unless you submit the form.

• Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data at any time
